The Isle of Wight Classic Buses, Beer & Walks Weekend is back for the 4th year running this coming weekend, Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th October.
One of the most popular events on the Island, this year sees over 80 venues taking part and over 70 vintage buses spanning the generations from 1937 to 2002, and everything in between! Simply purchase a programme for a bargain £6 which then allows you on and off the buses as they drive around the Island on 14 routes. Each pub on route will have special ales on for the occasion and many also have extra entertainment and offers for the weekend. As well as pubs, you can also enjoy a ride on a steam train thanks to Isle of Wight Steam Railway opening their Real Ale Bar and offering a route between Wootton and Havenstreet. You will find some of the Island’s best known pubs and also discover some that you have perhaps never been in before, including a couple of yacht, rugby and cricket clubs.
Make sure to vote for your favourite pub of the weekend too, in a special competition taking part across the two days.
So get out there and see the beautiful Island in a unique way and enjoy a pint or two – well, you are not driving this weekend!
