Isle of Wight Charity Driving Challenge

09:00 to 17:00

Saturday 6th October 2012

For the first time, the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service is hosting a special one-day Driving Challenge with the hope of raising a huge £15,000 for The Fire Fighters Charity and the Earl Mountbatten Hospice. The event will be held at the Military History Museum & BAE in Cowes

The Driving Challenge, taking place on Saturday 6th October 2012, will give participants the change to experience life behind the wheel of a variety of vehicles they may not usually get the chance to drive such as fire engines, HGVs, 4x4s  and even a tank!

If you are over 17 years of age with a full driving license then you can register for the Driving Challenge by contacting the Earl Mountbatten Hospice via 01983 528989. Participants will be required to secure a place with a £10 deposit, then raise a minimum of £90 for the two charities.
