Ventnor International Festival, taking place on the 11th August to coincide with Ventnor Fringe Festival, has announced Happyness, Girl Ray, Her’s, Elder Island, Bad Sounds and Puma Blue as the first acts to be confirmed.
The festival was created by the team behind the critically acclaimed Ventnor Fringe, VIF is the Isle of Wight’s unique take on the metropolitan/city based music festival with venues throughout the town, including a church, warehouse, rooftop and harbour. Featuring a carefully curated line up of the most exciting emerging artists from across the UK and beyond, it’s a place to discover the next big thing. A single ticket provides access to a whole range of interesting venues spanning rock, garage, electronic, hip hop and jazz.
Festival director, Jack Whitewood, said “VIF will pioneer the Island’s first urban-based music festival. We’ve still got lots of acts to announce — it’s going to be a very special day.”
Tickets are on sale now with early bird tickets costing £25 providing access to all of the VIF gigs and venues.
