If you’re one of those people who just can’t sit still (we all have that friend) then the Island is not just about leisurely walks along the beach or rambles through the countryside.
With over 70 miles of coastline, watersports are a popular activity with Islanders and visitors alike. Not a fan of the water? Head inland for more adventures.
Based in the picturesque Freshwater Bay, Adventure Activities is the place to go if you want to have the ‘best adventure on the Isle of Wight’. The largest activity company on the Island and if you think you can’t do it, take a look.
There are a variety of land and sea based things to do for small and large groups, adults and children. Experience everything from axe throwing, climbing, archery and for the daredevils, coasteering, to name just a few.
For the water babies take a look at Wight Water, the home of adventure watersports. The team specialise in water sports themed holidays, from the action-packed to the calmer activities, you choose what you want to do. Based around the east and south coast of the Island, during those sunny summer months, you would be forgiven for thinking you’re paddleboarding your way around the Med! If you want to learn how to kayak, surf or sail there are courses available, just drop them a line.
