Set in the grounds of the Old Vicarage the Model Village in Godshill is a timeless place to escape the busy world outside. As Kevin McCloud of Channel 4’s Grand Designs said “If you really do want to indulge in a uniquely Fifties Isle of Wight experience replete with bathing huts
The Isle of Wight is fantastic destination for visitors of all ages and can boast an impressive range of family attractions. So much of the Island is great fun young people to enjoy, but these attractions have been created especially with a junior audience in mind. The world’s first family attraction and theme park, Blackgang Chine was opened on the Isle of Wight 170 years ago and continues to be a favourite with visitors. Today however, there’s a fantastic choice to suit all ages and tastes with many attractions open all year round including old favourites like the Isle of Wight Zoo and Godshill Model Village, Dinosaur Isle, Brading Roman Villa and the latest at Tapnell Farm Park.
