Celebrate 50 years of the Isle of Wight Steam Railway during their Anniversary Gala Weekend.

This special weekend promises to be one of the highlights of their events calendar for 2021. It’s set to be a real treat for anyone with a passion for steam. See three Island locomotives in action over the weekend including two of the Railway’s original Island engines, W24 Calbourne and W11 Newport running on the line

There’s also a special guest locomotive - original Island 'Terrier' Knowle/Bembridge will be visiting from the Kent & East Sussex Railway over the course of the weekend.
