Isle of Wight Steam Railway The Railway Station Havenstreet PO33 4DS
Get set for wickedly, wonderful fun during the October half term at Isle of Wight Steam Railway, as witches, wizards and other ghouls take over Havenstreet station.
It wouldn’t be Halloween without a little magic and the Railway even has a real life magician conjuring up a few tricks. Meet the friendly witches of Havenstreet, you may even be able to be a spooky apprentice and help cast some magic spells.
Haven Falconry Bird of Prey Centre will have your eyes firmly fixed on the sky as their birds swoop and dive during daily flying displays. What’s more halloween-y than an owl… owl-oween if you will. Railway favourite, Greg Chapman, will be in the station yard telling terrible tales and mesmerising visitors with his amazing illusions.
Children will also be able to take the terrifying treasure hunt trail and explore the grounds before boarding the steam train. Look out for the crafty witch who will be dishing out treats (and maybe even a few tricks too) then settle back for a journey through ‘haunted’ woodland and chilling countryside.
