This horror event includes scary fun in the form of the poison emporium, possessed doll, ghost train, freaky fair and The Cursed Mill: A Terrifying Tour (for ages 12 and over). On Sunday 28th 2 – 4pm enjoy the very first Tapnell Family Rave aptly named ‘The Little Monsters Ball’ – Suitable for all the family. Located in the fantastic Glow Tent, you and your little ravers can have a knee’s up with a live DJ providing the tunes. A great way to burn off any of that leftover half term energy! Grab your glow sticks and glitter, it’s time to party! Get tickets here.
Wizard Week at the Isle of Wight Steam Railway
For the week of half term, the Isle of Wight Steam Railway is transformed, resembling Hogwarts Station. Enjoy the magic shows, relaxing steam train rides, and tread cautiously through the enchanting Woodland Walk. Meet the friendly witches of Havenstreet and help them with their magic spells and potions. Dress-up as wizards, witches and other spooky characters – there’s prizes each day for the best costumes – and enter the Halloween Treasure Hunt! The culminates in the Halloween Fright Night on Saturday 27th. Dress-up as witches, wizards and ghouls, or don your best Bride of Dracula or Beetlejuice costume. Lurk menacingly on the platform, then take the ‘ghost train’ through the Island’s deserted night time countryside, passing darkened woodland and desolate fields. Take trip down to our colour-changing haunted Forest and Woodland Creep but stick to the paths and beware of the ghouls lurking behind those trees! Book tickets for both events here.
